Universe full of colors and flavors

Vegetarianism is said to be the beginning of the path that leads to the development of the Human Being.

As the mind becomes more subtle, the body must also   follow the same process, otherwise the parallelism between the physical and psychic layers of our beings will be lost and our progress will be retarded.   That is why Yogis emphasize the importance of a vegetarian diet to maintain the purity of the body's cells, in the same way that the practice of meditation purifies the layers of the mind.

SUBTLE FOODS

Strength of self-awareness, love, peace, purity and happiness. When this force predominates, we are calm, relaxed, active and proactive, and our minds are prepared to reach heightened states of consciousness.

These foods are good for the body and the mind.

They alone should be ingested by those who wish to gain consciousness expansion. This food group includes: fruits, most vegetables, beans and nuts, grains. Most herbs, spices and plant-based milks provide all the proteins, carbohydrates, vitamins and minerals we need for health.

MUTATORY FOODS

The mutating force is the force of agitation, activity or change, when this force predominates in our minds, we become agitated, nervous, restless and unable to relax.

They stimulate the body and mind. These are products composed of stimulant substances (caffeine and others), such as, for example, black coffee, mate chocolate, soft drinks, spicy condiment and fermented food. These foods should be avoided or eaten in moderation to maintain our mental balance.

STATIC FOODS

The force of stultification, inertia, decay and death. Death occurs when the other two forces fade and the static force predominates. This force makes us brutish, aggressive, inactive and reactive.

Static food and products are dominated by static force. Most are not healthy for the body or mind, such as meats: beef, pork, chicken, rabbit, lamb, fish (and other terrestrial, aerial or aquatic animals), in addition to eggs, do_cc781905-5cde-3194 -bb3b-136bad5cf58d_mushroom, especially tobacco and alcoholic beverages. Onions and garlic can be good for the body. but they cause great mental agitation, and therefore should be avoided by those who would control their impulses.

It's mindful, compassionate, sustainable and   extremely healthy eating!

My intention is not to share recipes (I will give several links as suggestions), but to make important considerations and encourage this different lifestyle!

I will give tips on what to eat, how to combine foods and especially the nutrients contained in each food.

Health & Consciousness, that's what I want!

A bow to Life!

The word vegetarianism comes from the Latin "vegetus" and means that which is alive, fresh and healthy. Practiced by Hindus, Jains and Buddhists, it had its roots in India many centuries ago, supported by the "Vedas", arrived in the West through Pythagoras (Greek philosopher) who proclaimed a pure life and free from meat foods.

The Vegetarian Society came into being in 1847 in the United Kingdom. Its mainstay is non-violence and encompasses compassion and respect for all forms of life.

Vegetarianism has been supported by different religious and philosophical traditions throughout the ages as a means of purification and subtlety of the body.

Veganism is the latest style of the vegetarian tradition, which is based on a broad protection of the animal world: they do not consume anything that comes from an animal source, such as eggs, milk, honey; in addition to excluding products tested on animals, clothing, shoes, leather, wool and silk belts.
